Designing your own identity is always a fantastic experience. Watching our business grow and develop over the last 6 months has been exciting, but we’ve gotta be honest about something: Nothing quite compares to the moment when your first piece of stationary arrives at the door. When your company takes on physical form, the game suddenly changes.
“We could not be more thrilled with the quality production of these cards.” -MarkThe cards were printed on 16PT card stock paper, with a Silk Laminate finish that make the cards water and tear resistant. We also had a Spot UV applied to the logo and “the gorge project” wordmark on the front of the cards. This provided a mix of texture and visual stimuli that makes even the biggest skeptic say, “Wow!”
We had some time to test out the potential of utilizing a QR Code (Quick Response Code) during the development process of our cards. The main question that arose from our conversations was how exactly to utilize this tool. We settled on using it to give away all of Caleb’s personal information, which spurred a short lived protest that soon led to conformity. The cards provide everything you need to know to hire us! Feel free to give the QR Code (seen below) a crack on your computer screen. Not the same as using the business card (or having a business card), but fun nonetheless.
We could not be more thrilled with the quality production of these cards. Big thanks goes out to UV Cards for their wonderful work. You can visit them and learn more about their product, services, and specialty items at www.uvcards.com.
We all agree that these cards are awesome, functional, and most importantly really, really, ridiculously good looking. All photos used were produces in-house.
